A studio piece and part of the collection of work on ‘Restorative Nostalgia’.  ‘The Orange Mivvi Jar’ is decorated with vivid orange  lollies.

A SLIPWARE JAR, APPROX 28 CM TALL.

EXECUTED 2020. earthenware

A vividly coloured slipware  jar with domed top.  The form of coil built red Staffordshire earthenware is decorated with ice lollies against white spots on a black ground using slipware traditions of slip trailing, painting, and finished with a transparent gloss glaze to 1120°C oxidation firing.
